INGREDIENTS
- Fresh Sourdough Bread (2 slices)
- Peach (1, sliced)
- Prosciutto
- Cheese (I used Gouda & American – brie is also good)
- Cinnamon (1/4 teaspoon)
- Butter
- Sugar (2 tablespoons)
Equipment
- Non-stick skillet
DIRECTIONS
- Caramelize the peaches: In a skillet on medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter, the sliced peaches, cinnamon, and sugar. Allow to caramelize for 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
- If your cheese is cold, slightly melt it in the microwave or toaster oven.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat. Add another tablespoon of butter and place the bread slices in the skillet. Layer on the prosciutto, cheese, caramelized peaches and the top piece of bread.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
- Flip and repeat on the other side.
